{"id":2173,"date":"2026-02-01T05:02:44","date_gmt":"2026-02-01T05:02:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hvthemesdemo.com\/aceso\/site\/?p=2173"},"modified":"2026-07-07T08:04:21","modified_gmt":"2026-07-07T08:04:21","slug":"collaboration-between-aceso-therapeutics-and-the-university-of-montpellier-to-develop-a-new-therapy-for-cystic-fibrosis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hvthemesdemo.com\/aceso\/site\/collaboration-between-aceso-therapeutics-and-the-university-of-montpellier-to-develop-a-new-therapy-for-cystic-fibrosis\/","title":{"rendered":"Collaboration between Aceso Therapeutics and the University of Montpellier to develop a new therapy for cystic fibrosis"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Montpellier, February 2026 \u2014 Aceso Therapeutics and the Universit\u00e9 de Montpellier, in collaboration with the PhyMedExp laboratories, announce a research collaboration dedicated to the development of new therapeutic approaches for cystic fibrosis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:22px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This collaboration aims to accelerate the development of the <strong>ACT-101<\/strong> program, an innovative therapy based on antisense oligonucleotides (ASO), currently in advanced preclinical development, with an IND filing planned for 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:22px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cystic fibrosis affects more than 100,000 people worldwide. It is a rare genetic disease caused by mutations in the CFTR gene, primarily impacting the lungs.
